Roderick Slavcev is an Associate Professor with the University of Waterloo’s School of Pharmacy, Canada. Dr Slavcev’s research specializes in bacteriophage-based biotechnology and exploits phage genetic systems in the generation of novel therapeutic platforms.

Julia Lumini is a Research Project Manager at the Slavcev Lab, focusing on advancing gene therapy and biomedical engineering. She holds a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Science with dual focus on Biophysics and Medical Physiology and an MBA in Healthcare Management.

Krish Devgan is an NSERC (Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council) USRA (Undergraduate Student Research Award) student with the Slavcev Lab for Spring 2025, and is assisting with several different projects related to the iPhAGE System. He is in the 4th year of his BSc in Honours Health Science at McMaster University, Canada.

Deborah Pushparajah is working as a research associate and scientist with the Slavcev Research Group. She completed her MSc in Pharmacy at the University of Waterloo in December 2022.

Kate Nagge was a co-op research assistant with the Theraphage Lab, the University of Waterloo during Winter 2025. She was integral to the team, assisting with daily lab tasks and becoming adept at several experimental processes. She is currently pursuing Nursing at Conestoga College, Canada.
