This text is for Logic teachers. It reflects the approach that has resulted in substantial logic enrolments and the positive reaction of students to the courses offered during forty years of teaching over twenty thousand first year students. It’s for lecturers, tutors, and post-graduate students who are asked at short notice to teach logic. It offers practical advice about lecturing without imposing general schemes for teaching. The emphasis is on students rather than course content. It’s assumed that course content is Formal Logic and its application to the evaluation of premise-conclusion argument.
