This book describes and compares the basic principles of Christianity with the fundamental concepts of quantum physics. It compares conceptual models for quantum particle interaction and the Trinitarian theology of Christianity. The book follows the scientific method of proposing a model, testing its validity as far as possible, then applying it. A simple theoretical tool-kit, with well-defined terms and rules, is presented for the study of Christian theology. The book challenges some popular misconceptions about Christian belief. The tool-kit provides a framework for an open dialogue between Christianity and other belief systems. This tool-kit has been used by the author as a basis for courses in both academia and local churches. It is offered to practitioners in both these areas as a workable teaching resource. It is also offered to those, with or without a religious belief, to explore spirituality in the context of an understanding of a relationship between science and religion.
After the Postsecular and the Postmodern
A vanguard of scholars asks what comes after the postsecular and postmodern in Continental philosophy of religion. This volume argues philosophy must liberate itself from theological norms and mutate into a new speculative practice to confront the challenges of our time.
