Bringing together astronomy and atmospheric science, this interdisciplinary collection presents the wonders of the cosmos and the Earth’s atmosphere. It highlights how light travels, how telescopes and satellites capture it, and how we use those images to understand stars, planets, weather patterns, and more. The volume guides readers through various topics, from telescopes to Earth-observing satellites, solar system imagery, weather and climate prediction, and much more. It also discusses how AI is changing the way we study both space and the atmosphere. Written for curious readers of all backgrounds—whether students, educators, researchers, or even lay readers fascinated by science—this book explains complex ideas in a simple, accessible way, without requiring prior knowledge. It blends cosmic and atmospheric perspectives to enhance global science education and research. Turn the pages—where pixels meet physics, and curiosity sparks discovery. This isn’t just a companion; it’s your window to cosmo-atmospheric wonders.

Dr Yogesh Chandra, Assistant Professor of Astrophysics at Government PG College, Bazpur (Kumaun University), earned his PhD in Astronomy and Atmospheric Science. He applies AI to astrophysics, mentors graduate research, edits scholarly volumes, organizes academic events, and advances institutional excellence.
Dr Devendra Bisht, Assistant Professor I at the Indian Centre for Space Physics (ICSP), Kolkata, earned his PhD in astrophysics from Kumaun University and postdoctoral fellowships at the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA). He leads observational astronomy, mentors students, publishes extensively, and advances public outreach.
Mr Manjuleshwar Panda, Independent Astronomy Researcher with an MSc from Kumaun University, advances observational and extragalactic astronomy. He completed research programs at the Indian Institute of Technology Indore and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), and was selected for an international galaxy‑cluster project; he teaches undergraduates and publishes in astronomy.
Dr Deepak Pandey, Assistant Professor at Graphic Era Hill University, Haldwani, India, earned his PhD (2024, Kumaun University) on solar activity dynamics. He applies AI to space‑weather forecasting, has numerous publications, teaches, and leads hands‑on science outreach.
